When Burnley appointed Vincent Kompany as their head coach last summer, many people questioned the decision because the ex-Manchester City player didn't have experience in the tricky Championship league. Burnley also had a tough start with only one win in the first five rounds but, since then, they've dominated. Burnley scored the most while conceding the fewest goals, so their title is well-deserved.

Although the entire Burnley team has performed admirably, a dozen standout individuals have the potential to take the team’s direct even in the upcoming Premier League.

Nathan Tella: 39 games( 39 goals + 5 assists )

Last summer, Burnley received a payment from Southampton for Nathan Tella. A 23-year-old intruder who had played in 32 Premier League games over the previous two years was sent on loan to Burnley during the summer so he could have more opportunities to play. He had a solid playing popularity when he joined Burnley, but Nathan Tella displayed all of his talent by scoring 17 goals and making five help during the 2022 — 2023 season.

The potential for Nathan Tella is still questionable. Burnley has already stated that they would like to see him at Turf Moor once more the following year, but he is more likely to play a significant part at Southampton, his family membership.

Josh Brownhill: 41 games( including 7 goals and 8 helps ) on the nbbsp.

Midfielder Josh Brownhill is another person who has played a significant part in Burnley’s victory. He had been at Turf Moor for two and a half years before they were demoted to the Championship the previous year, so he wasn’t an unfamiliar experience. Burnley and Josh Brownhill have a deal going through 2024. He might become one of the Premier League’s most interesting transport options this summer if Burnley decides to sell him.

Ian Maatsen: , 39 games( 4 goals + 6 assists )

Before joining on loan from Chelsea last summer, Ian Maatsen spent two seasons at Charlton (League One) and Coventry (Championship), but the 21-year old left-back has exploded under Vincent Kompany this summer. The Netherlands U21 international enjoyed a superb season at Turf Moor, helping the team to secure a return to the Premier League. In 39 appearances for Burnley, Maatsen scored four goals and made six assists.

Although Ian Maatsen has a deal with Chelsea until 2024, the West London-based team still has Marc Cucurella and Chilwell back of him, so it is still unclear where he will play the following year.
