Osasuna had an outstanding year before, achieving a remarkable 7th place finish in La Liga and earning a spot in the Europa League Conference Qualifiers. Additionally, they came close to clinching their first major title but unfortunately fell short against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey finals. However, the current season has been disappointing for them as they were unable to advance to the Europa Conference League Group phase and currently occupy the 12th position in La Liga, having accumulated only ten points after nine rounds.

It’s worth noting that last season, Osasuna had a commendable record of 11 wins out of 19 home games in La Liga, yet this season they are yet to secure a victory. Therefore, the upcoming match against one of the weakest teams in the league presents a perfect opportunity for them to turn things around.

Granada emerged victorious only once in a span of nine rounds, defeating Mallorca with a score of 3:2 at their home ground. However, the result could have been significantly altered had Mallorca not failed to convert a penalty. Granada’s performance away from home has been even more dismal, as they have managed to gather only one point from four rounds and have conceded a staggering 12 goals, averaging three goals per game.

Both teams have been underwhelming this season, to say the least. Nonetheless, we believe that Osasuna is the slightly superior team and should come out victorious with a full three points at Estadio El Sadar.
