After a 2:2 bring in the first leg in Sarajevo, the second leg will be played in Baku’s natural location because Belorusian teams are not permitted to play their home games there due to UEFA sanctions for their involvement with the war against Ukraine. ,

Minsk Dinamo finished the last season 4th, but since the first two teams will not play in Europe, Minsk Dinamo got the opportunity to play in the Conference League Europa Qualifications. Due to a different football calendar than most of Europe, Dinamo have already played 14 rounds this season and are currently tied for 1st place with Neman. 

eljezniar Sarajevo finished the last season in 3rd place in their domestic league and secured Europe’s qualifiers for the first time since the 2018/19 season. eljezniar Sarajevo, like all teams from Bosnia, haven’t had much success and never reached the group phase of any European competition. Still, this pre-season, eljezniar Sarajevo added some solid players and will try to change that.

In the first leg, Minsk Dinamo started the game much better and had the 2:0 lead after 50 minutes. But that is something we should have anticipated since eljezniar Sarajevo haven’t played any official matches since May, unlike Minsk, which played almost half of this season and were fully prepared for these qualifiers. Still, when eljezniar Sarajevo made some adjustments, they took control of the game and deservedly tied the game. Now, we expect eljezniar Sarajevo to have a much stronger start and take over control of the game much sooner.

Minsk Dinamo are a team that relies heavily on its home pitch, and we can see that in the domestic league. After 14 rounds, they won 21 points at home and “only” 11 on the road. In this game, as we mentioned, they will have to play in Azerbaijan, and that is a massive disadvantage for the team.
