Bordeaux, once a firm fixture in Ligue 1, were demoted in the 2021/22 season due to financial problems and were on the brink of being relegated to the third tier. However, these victories were against Valenciennes and Annecy, two of the league’s weakest teams. Consequently, we have little confidence in Bordeaux’s ability to overcome the league leader.

They also experienced a poor performance against Bastia, where they were completely outclassed. This was their only unfortunate result in nearly three months.
