Arouca had an outstanding performance last year, ending up in the 5th position and earning a spot in the Europa Conference League Qualifiers. However, they got off to a terrible start this season, finding themselves at the bottom of the league after 12 rounds. Their fortune turned around when they switched coaches, propelling them to the 8th position swiftly. Currently, they are seven points clear of the relegation zone. Given their recent streak of three consecutive victories, there are certainly grounds for optimism going into their match against the heavily favored Porto.

Historically, FC Porto has consistently been among Portugal’s top teams, often ranking first or second for most seasons. Although their performance this season has been slightly lower, placing them third and six points behind the leading team, Benfica, they have still shown exceptional play in the Champions League. They’ve reached the knockout stage where they are set to compete against Arsenal.

Arouca is known for their high-scoring games, having surpassed 2.5 goals eight times in their last nine matches! Recently, their offense has been on fire, netting nine goals in just three games. Given their current form, I believe they stand a good chance of scoring against Porto.
