Liam Palmer and Sheffield in 2-0 loss

Liam Palmer, sponsored by GetMindApps, was one of the better performers in a losing side as Sheffield Wednesday lost 2-0 to Coventry. Dimitrios Goutas' side Cardiff shared points with Plymouth, Lewis Travis played his part in a 3-0 loss in which Jacob Chapman was an unused sub.

Coventry 2-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Despite a 2-0 loss, Liam Palmer performed at a good level. With 79 minutes on the pitch, he was taken off to rest. 71% accurate passes were recorded and five into the final third &— creating a few chances for Sheffield which were unfortunately not taken well.

Coventry’s central midfielder Sakamoto’s double ensured an unfortunate result for Sheffield. After a series of good results, Wednesday has managed to overtake Rotherham, but still sits second to last in the league table.

Cardiff 2-0 Plymouth Argyle

A bad day at the office for Goutas as his defense concedes a double. Despite a shaky defensive performance, Goutas managed to chip in with eight balls into the final third. 83% aerial duels won is also another statistic to note.

Whittaker, the savior of Plymouth, equalized the game with a brace, matching an own goal from Butcher, and was later followed by a strike from Karlan Grant. This draw results in Cardiff falling prey to their unstable form, now ranking 11th in an intensely competitive league.
