“It is that I am, how can I say it, running out of energy.” &— Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp has declared his departure from Liverpool FC at the conclusion of the current season. Liverpool’s official statement discloses that Klopp requested to exit at the close of this season.

An interview released by Liverpool FC’s official media revealed Jurgen Klopp’s emotional statement; “It was absolutely crucial for me to help get this team back on track. That was my sole focus.”

The press conference with Jurgen Klopp went on to state, “We embody Liverpool, we have faced even more difficult challenges together. And even tougher challenges were faced before I came along. Let’s use it as our strength.”

As the Liverpool hot seat becomes available from next season on, speculation will flare on which manager will take over the Scousers next. Klopp's departure could be a turning point for Liverpool FC after having built up such a huge influence and tactics policy.

The manager of the Reds will get a chance to depart on a high note as Liverpool is set to compete against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on February 25th. Additionally, the Premier League is still up for grabs.

Ideal Coach &— Xabi Alonso

Xabi Alonso, from Leverkusen, has performed exceptionally in the Bundesliga, presently leading the table by four points over familiar champions, Bayern Munich. The Spanish player also had a stint with Liverpool from 2004 to 2009.

The former midfielder, who still holds Liverpool dear to his heart, may face a decision between two of his past clubs. Real Madrid, like Liverpool, is also interested in securing his services.

Frank Lampard, Graham Potter, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Hansi Flick, Antonio Conte, Zinedine Zidane, Roberto De Zerbi, and Jose Mourinho are some of the other top names that could potentially be considered for the Liverpool job.

What Next for Jurgen Klopp?

The German mastermind has a broad selection of football teams to choose from on paper. His coveted coaching skills were evident even during his tenures at Mainz and Dortmund. Big-name clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona could potentially be contemplating an approach.

The position of coach for Bayern Munich could also be a feasible choice for Klopp to return to his native Germany.

“Being the national coach is and would always be a great honor &— there’s no doubt about that.” Klopp confessed last July.

Jurgen could also be greatly motivated to cap off his highly decorated career with a job at the helm of the German national side.

Back in 2019, Jurgen Klopp could have taken the mantle at Manchester United, but was convinced otherwise by his wife. With Erik Ten Hag's possible sacking on the horizon, it could fall into place all too conveniently.

Maybe it’s time for him to defy his wife’s advice &— Jurgen Klopp might even be considering a move to Manchester United for his next career step…

When is Jurgen Klopp's last Liverpool Match?

Potentially, Klopp's last match could fall onto the closing Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton at Anfield, on the 19th of May. However, this is only if the Reds fail to reach the Europa League final, or the FA Cup final.

Should Klopp lead his men to the Europa League final in Dublin, Ireland, May 22nd would be his final match.

However, if they make it to the FA Cup final, the 25th would mark Klopp’s final day of service to the Scousers.
