Morocco can secure their qualification for the AFCON’s last 16 with just a point, whereas Zambia needs a win to ensure their spot in the knockout phase.

Heading into Wednesday’s critical match, Morocco currently leads Group F after securing four points from their initial two matches against Tanzania (3:0) and DR Congo (1:1). Walid Regragui’s squad has now gone six matches without a defeat.

Currently ranked third in Group F, Zambia heads into this final match having secured consecutive 1-1 draws against DR Congo and Tanzania. Now, Avram Grant’s team is aware that they must equal DR Congo’s result to guarantee their advancement to the next round.

Heading into this game, both teams have scored in Zambia’s last five matches, making it a potentially profitable option for Wednesday. Although Morocco is expected to win, their tie with DR Congo exposed some weaknesses.
