After being knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester City with a 1:0 loss, Tottenham will be hosting Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London for the 22nd round of the Premier League.

Over the Summer, Tottenham underwent significant changes, including the sale of their star player, Harry Kane, and the arrival of new faces such as coach Ange Postecoglou. However, this season came with an added challenge &— they were missing their star player, Ivan Toney, for the initial 19 rounds due to a breach of betting regulations. Upon his return, Toney not only scored but also contributed to Brentford’s 3:2 victory over Nottingham, breaking a seven-game losing streak. Presently, the much-loved Bees are in 14th place with 22 points, a safe six points away from the relegation zone.

Brentford had been experiencing a significant losing streak, with losses in eight out of ten games, prior to their 3:2 victory over Nottingham in the most recent match. Their only two successful matches were home games against Wolves and Luton. Generally, Brentford struggle with away games, having lost five consecutively (including one after extra time), with a total of 12 goals conceded.
