Arsenal will aim to sustain their aspirations for the Premier League title when they journey to Bramall Lane on Monday to face Sheffield United, who are currently struggling with relegation.
This season has brought Sheffield fans minimal reasons to rejoice. Following a string of disappointing results, the club dismissed Paul Heckingbottom and brought Chris Wilder on board as head coach in December. However, there hasn’t been much improvement since. Out of the twelve league games under Wilder’s leadership, The Blades have only managed to secure victories in two, suffered eight defeats, and drew twice.
Meanwhile, Arsenal has been in the title race for the Premier League since the beginning of the season, however, their performance in the past month or so has surpassed expectations. Mikel Arteta’s team has emerged victorious in all six Premier League matches since January and also holds the second-best away record in the league this season.
Sheffield United vs Arsenal Betting Tips: Arsenal & Over 2.5 goals
The upcoming Monday’s clash will pit the Premier League’s weakest defence against its second-strongest attack. Sheffield United managed to complete only one game out of their past twelve in all competitions without surrendering a goal. Moreover, they conceded a minimum of three goals in five of their previous six appearances.
In recent weeks, Arsenal’s attack has been formidable. The Gunners have been netting an average of four goals per match in their previous six league games, and I predict this trend will persist into Monday’s game.
Additionally, the last time Mikel Arteta’s team played against Sheffield United in the Premier League, they scored five goals.
- Best Tip: Over 2.5 goals
- Sheffield United vs Arsenal prediction: 1-3

Sheffield United team news
Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder will have Mason Holgate available again after he served a one-match ban for the red card he received against Brighton.
Injuries will prevent John Egan (foot), Chris Basham (leg), and Tom Davies (muscle) from playing on Monday, but the hosts have no other urgent problems.

Arsenal team news
Recently, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu have been missing from the Arsenal team, and it is expected that they will not be ready to return by Monday’s game.
Thomas Partey is anticipated to return to the squad for the first time since October, and Jurrien Timber is also back in first team training after recovering from his injury.
