Following another easy weekend victory, Rangers could equal Celtic’s points if they secure another three points on Tuesday. The Gers also have the opportunity to lead the division if they achieve a victory of three goals or more.

The in-form Rangers continued their winning streak with a straightforward 3:0 win over Livingston on Saturday. Since the beginning of October, Philliipe Clement’s team has now triumphed in 14 of their past 16 league games.

At Ibrox, the Gers have accumulated seven straight league wins following an unexpected 3:1 loss to Aberdeen earlier this season. That game marked the turning point for ex-manager Michael Beale. Now, the Gers have the opportunity to wipe away those memories by reclaiming their position at the top of the Scottish Premiership this week.

Aberdeen, under the interim leadership of Peter Leven, are set for a challenging trip to Glasgow following a hard-earned draw against top-of-the-league Celtic at Pittodrie last Saturday. A second-half equaliser from Bojan Miovski secured the Dons their third tie in the last four games.

This season, the Dons have had difficulty maintaining consistency on the road. Aberdeen has suffered losses in five of their past nine away EPL games, each by a minimum of two goals. Moreover, they were unable to score in any of these five losses.

While the visitors did score a shock win at this venue in October, anything less than a comfortable home win would be a major surprise. As such, I’m backing the Gers to win on the handicaps with Clement´s men tipped to score at least a couple of goals.
