In the previous four seasons in La Liga 2, since gaining its promotion from the third tier, Mirandes have been mostly a mid-table team. They constantly finished between 11th and 16th place, with 52 to 56 points won. However, they were nowhere near the danger zone. This season, they were once again on pace for another mid-table finish, but with five losses in the last six matches, they dropped to 16th place, just six points away from the danger zone.
Real Zaragoza were relegated from La Liga in the 2012/13 season but were unable to return to the Spanish top-flight division in a decade. This season looked like they could finally return to La Liga as they held the playoff spot after almost a third of the season. But after that initial good start, their results declined, and they dropped to 15th place. Just like their opponent, Real Zaragoza are also in terrible form, and if they don’t change something, they could easily slide close to the relegation zone.
Mirandes vs Real Zaragoza pick: Under 2.5 goals
Both teams, Mirandes and Zaragoza, are experiencing poor performance, with five defeats in their last six games! Throughout this period, Mirandes managed to score a mere four goals, while Zaragoza only scored once! Together, that equates to a dismal 0.42 goals per match in the past six rounds of La Liga 2.
Furthermore, Real Zaragoza is known as one of the top teams for this kind of wager. To date, only 19% of their matches have ended with three or more goals (six out of 31). In recent times, their away games have been low-scoring, with eight consecutive matches having fewer than 2.5 goals.
In the past eight head-to-head matches, we observed less than three goals in each game. Given the terrible scoring form of both teams in these previous matches, we are confident that this game will also conclude with less than three goals.

Mirandés team news
Midfielder Daniel Luna suffered an injury late in the previous game vs Leganes and had to leave the field in the 80th minute. He will most likely remain sidelined, but he is not an important part of the team and mainly serves as a backup option. Besides Luna, the team will miss players Miguel Baeza and Javier Marton, who missed the previous matches due to injuries.
After a 4:0 loss vs Leganes, coach Alessio Lisci spoke to the media. He was furious with his players, saying that it is unacceptable to have 55% ball possession in the 1st half and to be losing 3:0. He also said they are not on their level physically and noted that they should have remained calm when they conceded the first goal.

Carlos Nieto, Andres Borge, and Raul Guti, the players who were sidelined due to injuries in the previous games, should remain out of play.
