Ajax (Wom) vs Chelsea (Wom) Betting Tips &— Over 2.5 goals
Expect a thrilling match on Tuesday evening as Ajax and Chelsea face off. The Dutch team secured their spot in the Women’s UCL knockout stage, finishing second in their group with ten points and only trailing group winner PSG based on head-to-head records.
Suzanne Bakker’s team in Amsterdam put on a particularly impressive show, securing three victories in three games against PSG, Roma, and Bayern Munich. In contrast, Ajax only managed to draw one point from three away games in the group phase. De Godendochters dominated on their home turf, winning all five UCL matches this season, including qualifiers against Dinamo-BGU and Zurich.
Amsterdam’s recent performance has also been impressive. Bakker’s women’s team has won their last eight matches, scoring an astonishing 35 goals in the process.
Chelsea, in good form, will also travel to the Netherlands. Emma Hayes’ team has triumphed in their last four matches, which includes a 3:1 victory over their London rivals, Arsenal, last Friday.
Chelsea displayed a dominant performance in Group D of the UCL, remaining undefeated in all six group phase fixtures and accumulating 14 points. Although they were held to a 2:2 draw at Real Madrid, Chelsea won two out of three group stage matches on the road. Notably, Real Madrid lost all their other five group matches.
While Chelsea are favourites to pick up the win on Tuesday, Ajax home form cannot be ignored so I’m putting my faith in BTTS at the famous Johan Cruijf arena. Ajax rarely fail to score at home while Chelsea saw both teams scoring in two of three group fixtures on their travels. I expect a similar outcome in what should prove a keenly contested Champions League encounter.

Suzanne Bakker, Ajax’s manager, has no new injury concerns following Ajax’s 5:1 victory over Ajax II in the Women’s KNVB Beker last match.
Romée Leuchter, a forward in top form, scored a hat-trick in Thursday’s effortless victory and will continue to lead the Ajax attack.

Hayes, the head coach, might select the same XI that secured an impressive 3:1 victory over Arsenal. The Blues’ attack will be spearheaded by the in-form striking pair of Lauren James and Sjoeke Nüsken.
